I now know how to adjust my nutrients for my running goals e.g. more carbs. Better than that though, I don't stress-eat nearly as often. I learned how to make a plan for eating when stress happens, which helped me gain control of my emotional eating.

Overall, in a short amount of time, my breakthroughs in nutrition have spread throughout other areas of my life. I just love eating now!I lost about 5lbs and 12-13cm. When I flex my quads, I can see them! Haven't seen separation in my quads in about 15 years.

I was attempting to diet but seeing absolutely no results. I was hungry, tired, lethargic, had headaches, and zero energy! I also had a relationship with food where there was "good" food and "bad" food and I felt shame no matter what I ate. I was also struggling with sleep, stress, and GI issues as well as other chronic illnesses. I didn't believe I was capable of change and resigned myself to the idea that this was going to be the rest of my life. I also had somewhat of an unhealthy relationship with alcohol.

I realized that there aren't good or bad foods but foods that make my body feel a certain way and foods that contribute to symptoms I don't like. I learned that consistency and balance bring you the results you want and that IT IS IMPORTANT TO EAT ENOUGH FOOD. I also learned that the balance of fat, carbs, and protein are what make a complete meal. I learned that I am the only person responsible for my health and it is up to me to take accountability. I was also able to lessen my shame response and start celebrating my body and accomplishments.

As of right now I've lost 17lbs, felt stronger, have more energy daily, eat more even though I'm still losing weight, and I feel so much better. I also feel confident and empowered that I can make healthy choices out with friends or at a restaurant and don't have to feel like I can only eat at home to be healthy.


I was trying so hard to lose weight just by exercising everyday, but it starts with what you eat. She showed me that. Then when I thought I was eating something healthy, she explained why it wasn’t “healthy” and gave me knowledge.  I went from 140 pounds to around 117 pounds (that number fluctuates up or down 1-3 pounds, water weight/bloating). That part was great, but also I did it in about 2-3 months. This does not mean that that will happen for everyone else, because each individual is different. What it did show me though is that, just by changing my eating habits I changed my whole world.

My biggest struggles were eating when stressed, bored, eating out of procrastination, and literally eating whenever I was NOT hungry. I had a huge emotional tie with food and I was always on a continuous restrict then binge cycle. I would get so stressed about last-minute plans with friends and family (ex. Wine nights, going out to dinner, etc.) that I couldn’t enjoy time with them and I wasn’t ever present. 

I can enjoy myself without restricting. I don’t have to skip a meal, do a ridiculous cleanse, or anything extreme to “bounce back” from a night out, eating out of emotion or boredom, or after a big meal from family gatherings or holidays. There truly is a balance and Leslie taught me to trust my body! I am no longer a slave to fad-diets, starving, or bingeing because of Leslie! She’s my saving grace! 

My weight always fluctuated between 122-125lb’s and I felt so bloated before working with Leslie. Now, I’ve seen the scale get to 112lb and I tend to fluctuate between 112-118Lb depending on what I ate the day before. I am also waaay better about not putting an emotional tie to the scale. Leslie taught me that my body is smart, I don’t have to deprive myself, and weight fluctuations are normal. 


Life before Leslie- looking back now it’s looked chaotic, on the go, unplanned, inconsistent, no confidence, no lobe for myself, and so many other things. I never thought I would even work with her like two weeks before I texted her. I ate out a lot. I never felt healthy. I never felt like I was good enough to eat good enough. I never was at the stat of mind of this is for you and the decisions you are making decide your future. I never thought “you are eating this way for you” I just always went to McDonald’s to get a burger. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I struggled with bored eating, snacking, and portion control. I also didn’t believe in myself mentally or physically. 

SO MUCH CHANGED AND I’M FOREVER GRATEFUL. I started to believe I could do anything. I had a mental breakthrough of getting passed the worlds “I’m not good enough” or “I can’t”. I started to want to achieve bigger goals because I knew I could, and I did! All because Leslie believed in me and never let me fall. My mindset totally changed. I looked at food way different instead of looking at it has dang I’m going to eat this I was like I get to eat this half a plate of veggies and I’m gonna like it because in a month from now it’ll show. I now look at food as if it was helping me and not defeating me!! 

Big results is an understatement for me. Just from working with her for 8 months. I lost 61 pounds, I went down 4 pant sizes, and down a shirt size. That’s insane to me. 

Working with Leslie it’s not just about your food. Yes she changed my eating and she changed my view of food BIG TIME. That’s not it though. She cared about my mental well-being just has much as my physical. She always asked what I needed from her, literally every week she asked that question before check in was over. That’s what mattered the most. She was always there as she still is she loves her clients deeply and is soo good at cheering them. Gosh I love her.
